Shipping Policy
At The Card Raider, we aim to dispatch orders promptly and provide clear shipping information before purchase. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through our store.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”) or any other applicable law.
1. Order Processing
Processing time is the period between when an order is placed and when it is packed, prepared, and handed to the shipping carrier.
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days unless otherwise stated on the product page, at checkout, or during promotional periods.
Processing times may be longer during:
- major sales or promotional events
- public holidays
- periods of unusually high order volume
- stock arrival delays outside our reasonable control
Orders are not processed, packed, or dispatched on weekends or South Australian public holidays unless otherwise stated.
2. Shipping Methods
Available shipping options will be shown at checkout and may include standard shipping and express shipping, depending on the order and destination.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to use an equivalent carrier service where reasonably necessary to complete delivery.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes shown at checkout or elsewhere on the Site are estimates only.
Delivery time consists of both:
- order processing time, and
- carrier transit time
Estimated delivery times begin from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed, unless otherwise stated.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on:
- destination
- carrier delays
- weather events
- peak shipping periods
- rural or remote delivery locations
- public holidays
- circumstances outside our reasonable control
We do not guarantee delivery dates unless expressly stated.
4. Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking details will be sent to the email address provided at checkout once your order has been dispatched.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide a correct and accessible email address and shipping address at checkout.
5. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details entered at checkout are complete and accurate.
We are not responsible for delays, loss, failed delivery, or additional costs arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated shipping information provided by the customer.
If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address details or failure to collect the parcel, re-shipping fees may apply.
6. Authority to Leave and Safe Delivery
If a shipment is delivered with authority to leave, or if the carrier determines it is safe to leave the parcel in accordance with its delivery procedures, responsibility for the parcel may pass upon delivery in accordance with the carrier’s tracking confirmation.
If you have concerns about delivery security, we recommend selecting a delivery address where the parcel can be safely received.
7. Lost, Delayed, or Undelivered Parcels
If your parcel is significantly delayed, marked as delivered but not received, or appears lost in transit, please contact us at support@thecardraider.com.au as soon as possible.
We may open an enquiry with the relevant shipping carrier. Investigation timeframes vary depending on the carrier.
Where required by law, and depending on the circumstances, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the ACL.
We are not liable for loss or delivery issues caused by:
- incorrect or incomplete shipping details provided at checkout
- failure by the customer to collect the parcel from the carrier or collection point
- delays caused by the carrier that are outside our reasonable control, except to the extent required by law
8. Shipping Delays
From time to time, dispatch or delivery delays may occur due to carrier disruptions, high shipping volumes, severe weather, public holidays, or other events outside our reasonable control.
If we become aware of a material delay affecting your order, we will aim to communicate this where reasonably practicable.
If we are unable to supply your order within a reasonable time, you may have rights under the ACL.
9. International Shipping
We currently ship only within Australia unless otherwise stated on our Site.
If international shipping becomes available, any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other government charges will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
